Famille Perrin are one of France’s most respected wine-making families, owners of estates located in the historic Chateau Beaucastel in the Côtes du Rhônes region of France.
This is not only purely down to the quality of their wines; it’s about their history and beliefs too. The family is a leading organic wine producer in their region, occupying some of the finest terroirs of the Southern Rhône Valley. They’ve maintained a dedicated approach and dedicated values for five generations, including commitment to manual methods and respect for soil. They also hold a strong conviction that only organic grape growing can truly express a terroir’s true essence. They take their processes seriously.
Château Beaucastel remains the family’s best known accomplishment, a 130 hectare wine-making estate that is one of France’s most prestigious and one of the first in the world to embrace organic wine production. The Château has allowed Famille Perrin to be named a member of the Primum Familiae Vini, a grouping of the world’s 12 finest wine-making families. Serious stuff.
It is not only the quality of their wines but also their steadfast dedication to their craft that has seen them become one of the most internationally known and reliable wineries of the region.
